Green Bay Terrace

Located at the south end of F Highway, opposite mile marker 31, Green Bay Terrace is named after William Green, Sr.

Green owned an early day resort at the location. He liked to refer to himself as "Sittin' Bill--Chief of the Ozark Hill-Billies." Those who knew him described Green as a genial man who loved to tell tales of the days before the lake came in.
